Data & Account Deletion
📱 In-App Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your data is directly through MindSprout App
- Open MindSprout on your device
- Go to Profile (Initials on top right of screen)
- Tap “Delete Account” or “Delete My Data”
- Confirm your request
- Your data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours
⚠️ What Gets Deleted:
- Your profile information and email
- Teaching plan preferences and saved items
- Subscription (active subscriptions will be cancelled). Data will be retained for legal purposes
- All personal data associated with your account
✉️ Email Deletion Request
If you can’t access the app, send us an email request:
Include in your email:
- The email should be sent via an email address registered with MindSprout
- Confirmation that you want your data deleted
- Whether you want account deletion or data deletion only
⏱️ Processing Time
All deletion requests are processed within 30 days as required by South African POPIA regulations and GDPR compliance.
In-app deletions are typically completed within 24 hours
